Columns marched all night: Kremlin moves some forces from Donbass to reinforce three Russian regions - mass media

Russia withdraws some troops from Donbass to protect the borders of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions

The Russian command is redeploying some Russian troops from Donbass to Russian territory. They will reinforce the borders of Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk oblasts, the vulnerability of which was vividly demonstrated by the raid of Russian volunteers from the Legion of Freedom of Russia and the Russian Volunteer Corps a few days ago.

Because of the Kremlin's decision, huge columns of military equipment had been marching through a number of temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast since the evening of May 24 and throughout the night. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind".

According to the channel, from the evening of May 24 until the morning of May 25, huge columns of Russian military equipment were streaming through Starobelsk, Luhansk, and Krasnodon. The transfer of some troops from the occupied part of Donetchina in the direction of Russian territory had begun.

"Putin decided to strengthen the defenses of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions after the successful reconnaissance and sabotage operation in Belgorod region. This means weakening the defenses on the front lines in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Troops are being withdrawn from the districts of Svatove, Kreminna, Severodonetsk, and Lysychansk," the channel writes.

The transfer of troops is confirmed by the conversations of the Russian occupants intercepted by intelligence officers, as well as air reconnaissance data.

Recall that on May 25, the owner of the PMC "Wagner," Yevgeny Prigozhin, once again announced the withdrawal of the PMC "Wagner" from Bakhmut . According to him, all the mercenaries will be withdrawn to the rear by June 1, and after the "rest and training. According to Prigozhin, the city destroyed to the ground will be handed over to the Russian army.

Except that the Russians have great doubts about the ability of the Russian armed forces to hold Bakhmut.

However, it is not the first time that Prigozhin has theatrically announced the "withdrawal from Bakhmut. The last time he promised to do so was on May 10, giving way to the RF Armed Forces, who "shamefully fled Izyum and Liman." After "Putin's cook" was besieged even by Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov, Prigozhin "forgot" about going out for a while.
