On the night of October 1, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive drone attack on the Cherkasy region. The city of Uman came under attack, where industrial infrastructure was hit. There was also a casualty.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Ihor Taburets. The State Emergency Service showed photos from the scene (to view them, scroll down to the bottom of the news).

According to the official, a fire broke out in Uman in a warehouse where grain was stored.

Preliminary, one person was injured due to the aggressor's actions: he was promptly taken to the hospital.

"We are currently in the process of eliminating the consequences. All specialized services are working at the scene. Law enforcers are recording new crimes of Russian terrorists," Taburets noted.

According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters extinguished the flames at an industrial facility in the Cherkasy region over a total area of more than 3,000 square meters. The firefighters used 11 vehicles and 52 rescuers to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on the night of September 21, the aggressor country of Russia struck Cherkasy. The enemy missile was shot down, but its fragments destroyed a hotel in the city center. At least 11 people were injured in the attack.
