The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine is assisting Russian volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) and the Siberian Battalion, which operate in Russia. The soldiers' task is to help Ukraine defend its territorial integrity.

This was stated by the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in a commentary to Suspilne. He answered very concisely and did not go into details.

"We support, help and advise them...," the head of the intelligence said.

At a press conference on March 21, the volunteers said that the main goal of their raid was to help the Ukrainian Defense Forces so that the aggressor country would lose the war. The second goal is to continue the liberation campaign and raise the RVC flag over the Kremlin wall.

"Accordingly, as the Legion said, we will strike Belgorod back for every strike at Kharkiv. Thus, our liberation operation on the territory of our homeland will continue," Baranovsky emphasized.

Earlier, Budanov said that the raid by Russian volunteers in the Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation is the beginning of the fight for their country. The insurgents' struggle is entering a new phase: not only to fight against the fascist regime but also to unite the opposition forces "into one powerful fist and save the country from falling into the abyss."

Representatives of Russian volunteer formations reported that in more than a week of fighting in the Belgorod region, the Russian army lost more than 1,500 people. The irreversible losses of the terrorist country of the Russian Federation amount to 651 people, and the sanitary losses amount to 980.
