An attack on the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, conducted by the SSU together with the Defense Forces on the night of April 5, destroyed at least six enemy aircraft. Another eight were heavily damaged.

This was reported by informed sources to OBOZ.UA. It is known that frontline bombers Su-27 and Su-34 were based in Morozovsk, which Russia uses to drop aircraft bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian military and frontline cities of Ukraine.

The results of the joint special operation – at least six Russian military aircraft were destroyed, and eight more were heavily damaged.

In addition, about 20 military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces became "two hundred" or "three hundred".

"This is an important special operation that will significantly reduce the combat potential of the racists," the source said.

According to OSINT analyst MT Anderson, Morozovsk was home to almost 30 " driers" from which the enemy was launching bombing strikes on the Ukrainian front. These are 26 Su-34s and three Su-30/35s.

Meanwhile, Russian media reports that the wreckage of one of the UAVs that attacked Morozovsk at night fell on a private house, smashing windows, damaging walls and a fence, and killing a dog. No people were injured.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that the Morozovsk airfield, where the 559th Guards Bomber Regiment of the Russian Federation is based, has been hit. In particular, in December, a Su-34 fighter jet was damaged there.
