All those who stood closer to the road were killed: new details of the arrival of the military in a frontline village in Zaporizhzhia

The soldiers of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Transcarpathian region were to be awarded on November 3 at 9 am. Then the event was postponed to 9:30 a.m., and at about 10:10 a rocket attack took place.

The Russian occupiers were watching the soldiers of the 128th Brigade from a drone, adjusting the missile strike. This was reported by Hromadske.

According to the publication, the commander of the 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade, Dmytro Lysyuk, was late for the event dedicated to the Day of Missile Forces and Artillery. The soldiers waited for the brigadier for more than half an hour, and then an incident occurred, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of soldiers.

Sources from the 128th Brigade noted that the award ceremony was originally scheduled for 9 a.m., but was postponed to 9:30 a.m. At that time, the soldiers were already lined up and waiting for the commander. Around 10.10, a Russian strike occurred. It is also reported that the commander arrived at the scene two minutes later.

At the same time, it is reported that the Russian terrorists were correcting the missile strike with the help of a UAV. But the enemy made a mistake and hit the building behind the military, which is closer to the road.

"So it turns out that those who were standing closer to the road were all from the 200th. And the personnel who were to be awarded (gunners,  proofreaders, artillerymen) were slightly covered by the wall of the building that was hit by the Iskander. This resulted in fewer casualties," said one of the interlocutors.

As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the circumstances of the tragic deaths of military personnel and civilians as a result of a missile attack on a settlement in Zaporizhzhia region. An internal investigation has been initiated to determine the causes of the tragedy.

Earlier it was reported that the circumstances of the Russian war crime are being investigated. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov ordered an investigation into the tragedy.
