AFU: Ukrainian soldiers are advancing in the area of Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region

Heavy and dynamic fighting continues in the Bakhmut direction (Donetsk region). Ukrainian Defense Forces have successes in the area of Kleshchiivka village (south of Bakhmut).

This was stated by the head of the press service of the Eastern grouping of the AFU troops Iliia Yevlash, ArmyInform reports. The representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the defenders of the country are moving forward and knocking out the occupants of our land.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers are actively shelling the positions of the Defense Forces and peaceful settlements, using aircraft, helicopters and other means.

"The enemy committed almost 600 shellings over the day, trucking the positions of our defenders with aircraft twice. A total of 12 militant attacks took place," the speaker said.

It is confirmed that 260 Russian occupants and a significant amount of enemy equipment were eliminated in the Bakhmut direction during the day, including:

- two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, three IFVs;

- a 240 mm Tulpan mortar, one 203 mm Pion SAU, three Msta-B artillery launchers, one BM-21 Grad MLRS, two Akatsiyas, two Hyacinths-S, two D-20 and four D-30 cannons.

The AFU also destroyed one UAV control center, two ammunition depots, one Lynx radar, three Zala-type UAVs, one Orlan-10 drone and one Russian vehicle.
