AFU has success in the Berdyansk direction and consolidates on the achieved borders: details

The Ukrainian defenders are having partial success in the Berdyansk direction and are consolidating their positions, inflicting heavy losses on the occupants. They are carrying out aerial reconnaissance, counter-battery warfare, destroying enemy targets and demining territories.

Speaker of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavriia direction, Major Valeriy Shershen spoke about it on the air of the TV marathon. "We have partial success in the Berdyansk direction. Having advanced along the front line, our strike units and military units are consolidating on the achieved borders, conducting aerial reconnaissance of the terrain, striking enemy targets, carrying out counter-battery warfare, conducting demining," he said.

According to the press officer, the enemy is hardening resistance, but Ukrainian soldiers are "systematically pressing on certain parts of the front" and destroying the combat potential of Russian troops.

At the same time, the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavriia" Oleksandr Tarnavsky reported that over the past day the occupants attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 19 times and made 585 shelling.

For its part, the artillery of the Defense Forces of the Tavriia direction performed 1,397 firing tasks.

As a result, the RF lost more than two companies killed and wounded, as well as 22 units of military equipment.

In particular, the AFU destroyed:

- 6 AFVs,

- 2 2A65 "Msta-B" howitzers,

- 2 BM-21 "Grad" MLRSs,

- 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" SAU,

- "Orlan-10" UAVs,

- "Supercam" UAV,

- "Buk" SAM system,

- portable "Kredo-M" RSL system,

- "Borisoglebsk" EW and automotive equipment,

- 3 enemy ammunition depots.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- According to the General Staff of the AFU, about 510 occupants and 80 units of their equipment were destroyed in Ukraine over the past day.

- The AFU stopped an attempted breakthrough of the occupants at the front, destroying all the offensive equipment of the enemy, which is 9 AFVs together with personnel.
