A new aerial video has been posted online showing the current appearance of the Azovstal plant in temporarily occupied Mariupol. This territory has become a symbol of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian military against Russian aggression.

The extent of its destruction shows the scale of the tragedy. The video was published by the Mariupol City Council.

The video shows the traces of all-out shelling and massive bombardment, which testify to the fierce fighting that took place here. "Azovstal has become an outpost where soldiers have been defending their homeland with all their might, demonstrating their steadfastness and courage.

This plant, which was once the heart of Mariupol's industry, now serves as a reminder of the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers. Although its territory has been destroyed, the spirit of resistance that prevailed here has remained unchanged.

"Azovstal now! An outpost of Mariupol. The site of the heroic resistance of Ukrainian heroes to the Russian invasion. The traces of total shelling and massive bombardment testify to the scale of the tragedy and, at the same time, to the strength of the indomitable spirit of Ukrainian soldiers," the city council said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the aggressor country Russia "sentenced " Azov defender Vladyslav Andrianov to 25 years in prison. The Ukrainian soldier is the boyfriend of police officer Mariana Checheliuk, who was released from Russian captivity on May 31.

The aggressor country Russia is holding 403 Ukrainian women in captivity, including many civilians illegally captured by the occupiers. Their detention does not comply with the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
