A cemetery of the liquidated Wagner mercenaries in Ukraine was discovered near Moscow: no one comes to their graves. Photo
Another cemetery of Wagner mercenaries liquidated in Ukraine was found in the Moscow region. At least 27 new graves have appeared at the cemetery in the village of Mavrino, and they probably contain the remains of murdered prisoners.
Each grave has identical wreaths with the PMC emblem and identical plastic tea cups. Russian edition of Moscow Online reported it.
The graves were discovered in mid-January at a cemetery in the village of Mavrino near Moscow. There were 27 new graves found there, located along the cemetery fence, away from other graves.
According to the newspaper, all the graves have white, blue, and red bouquets and identical wreaths with the Wagner PMC emblem. The emblem is engraved with the words "Blood, Honor, Homeland, and Courage". There is also a red plastic cup on each grave with the words "Maybe tea, maybe not."
Unlike the graves of Russian military personnel, the graves of mercenaries do not have tricolors, candles, or fresh flowers. From this fact, the journalists concluded that no one visits the graves.
According to the newspaper, the graves contain prisoners recruited in Russian colonies by the Wagner PMC who were liquidated in Ukraine.
"My men and I went to see them. The only thing we can assume is that they are Wagnerites. We were advised not to go into this topic. So far, none of their relatives have contacted us. They appeared in January. I am not here all the time. They could have come before. I am not in charge of the cemetery. I don't know what they are doing there," the publication quotes a local priest as saying, who, during a conversation with journalists, said several times in different variations that it was "better not to get involved into it."
Nevertheless, the journalists decided to "get into it" and found out that among the 27 people buried in this secret cemetery, there were only two Muscovites. Four of the liquidated were from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. The rest are from different Russian regions.
The age of the buried mercenaries ranges from 21 to 55 years old.
"The list of crimes for which the victims were serving their sentences is as long as the criminal code: everything from Article 105 (murder) to 222 (illegal arms trafficking). But most of them were convicted under the "popular" 228th Article (drug trafficking)," the publication writes.
The journalists also tracked down relatives of some of the mercenaries buried in the Moscow region: no one informed their families about the elimination of their relatives.
To recap, many more mercenary graves were discovered in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. Since December, when one of the local activists found a secret cemetery, its territory has grown almost tenfold. Currently, there are more than 400 graves in the cemetery.
Earlier, terrorist and international criminal from the Russian Federation Igor Girkin called Yevgeny Prigozhin a psychopath and a war criminal and called for his removal from the front. According to the ex-chieftain of the so-called "DPR," it is Prigozhin who prevents Russia from defeating Ukraine. Girkin also added Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to his "company," whom the terrorist has long called nothing but a "plywood marshal."
It was also reported that Prigozhin recently told what would happen if the Wagnerites were not given ammunition. According to him, if the mercenaries retreat from Bakhmut, "the front will crumble and the Ukrainian Armed Forces will make a breakthrough," eventually reaching the Ukrainian-Russian border. Prigozhin once again stated that the Wagnerites were allegedly "pulling the entire Ukrainian army to themselves," in essence, once again hinting at the complete inability of the "second army of the world" to conduct combat operations.
This is not the first time Yevgeny Prigozhin has thrown tantrums about the Russian Defense Ministry's failure to provide the Wagner PMC with munition. For example, on February 22, he showed a pile of bodies of Wagnerites in Bakhmut, saying that about 70 half-dressed corpses were the result of one day of fighting in one section of the Bakhmut direction alone.
A little later, Prigozhin revealed that "hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers" were dying at the front in Ukraine. This revelation by Putin's "cook" was made during his public dispute with the governor of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, whom Prigozhin chose as another target for self-promotion.
Later, the oligarch tried to justify what he had said, saying that he had been "misunderstood." He said he meant that "hundreds of thousands are fighting, and some of them are dying."
