Zelenskyy holds a meeting with Zaluzhnyi and Budanov: they discussed the situation at the front and the production of UAVs
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff with the participation of the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi and military leadership. During the meeting, they discussed, among other things, the production of domestic UAVs.
The head of state also heard a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Alexander Litvinenko, on the current state of affairs in the Russian army. Zelenskyy wrote about this in his Telegram.
The President noted that Chief Zaluzhnyi and Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Budanov provided reports on the operational situation at the front and the enemy's plans.
For their part, the commanders of the operational and strategic groups of troops, Oleksandr Syrskyi and Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, reported on the progress of specific offensive and defensive operations in their areas.
Zelenskyy noted that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov spoke about providing the front with everything it needs. In addition, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin reported on the measures taken by his ministry to increase its own production of weapons, especially drones.
The participants also heard an extensive report by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Litvinenko, on the current state of affairs in the Russian army and the prospects for the development of the Russian military-industrial complex.
Earlier, it was reported that with the expansion of drone production in Ukraine, the need for ammunition for drones has increased. Therefore, the government has launched a mass production of ammunition for UAVs.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the prospects for arms production in our country. First of all, to ensure the security of Ukraine, we need air defense systems and other modern weapons.
