Occupants' command post blown up in Donetsk region: details of the AFU's successful strike

In the occupied village of Manzhykiv Kut (until 2016 – Kalinina) in Donetsk region, the command post of the 98th Guards Airborne Division of the Russian Armed Forces was hit. This disrupted the command and control system of the invading troops and significantly complicated the coordination of the division's military units.

On March 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the strike by the Air Force of Ukraine was highly accurate and successful. It was not specified what kind of weapons were used by our defenders.

According to DeepState's map, Manzhykiv Kut is located about 50 kilometers from the nearest point on the contact line. It has been occupied since 2014.

"Ukraine's defense forces continue to deprive the enemy of the ability to operate effectively on the battlefield, methodically destroying its command and logistics structures," the press service said.

This operation is another step towards the destruction of the aggressor's military potential and the liberation of Ukrainian land. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that our soldiers will not stop until the occupation army loses its ability to wage war.

General situation at the frontline

According to the General Staff's report, 59 combat engagements took place on March 4 (as of 16:00):

– in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried to advance twice in the area of Vovchansk;

– in the Kupyansk sector, the invaders attacked three times near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Bohuslavka;

– in the Lyman sector, nine attacks were recorded in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Nove, Yampolivka, Dibrova;

– in the Toretsk sector, there were seven attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Dachne;

– in the Pokrovsk sector – 12 attacks in the areas of Promin, Lysivka, Serhiivka, Andriivka, Oleksiivka;

– in the Novopavlivsk sector, enemy units attacked our positions near Kostiantynopil four times;

– in the Huliaipil sector, there was one enemy attack in the area of Pryvilne;

– in the Orikhivsk sector – six attacks in the direction of Nesterianka and Kamianske;

– the enemy conducted one unsuccessful attack in the Prydniprovsk sector;

– in the Kursk region of Russia, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 attacks by the invaders;

– in the Siversk and Kramatorsk directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, but carried out shelling and reconnaissance.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces killed and wounded about 1340 Russian servicemen over the past day (March 3). The total number of the aggressor's manpower "canceled" during the full-scale war has increased to 879,410.
