Russia kills one person and leaves people without water, electricity and heat in massive drone attack on Odesa and its region

On the evening of Tuesday, March 4, Russian occupation forces again targeted peaceful Odesa with Shahed UAVs. Explosions were heard in the city, after which part of the regional center was left without electricity, water and heat. A civilian was killed in Odesa region as a result of the Russian attack.

This was reported by Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. "The enemy hit critical infrastructure again... All relevant agencies are working," he wrote.

Prior to that, the mayor urged people to stay in shelters, as the attack UAVs were moving toward the city.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, confirmed that there was damage to critical infrastructure in Odesa, and that part of the city was left without electricity, water and heat. Everyone is working to eliminate the damage, he added.

The debris from the downed enemy UAVs also damaged private houses in the suburbs of Odesa and caused fires, which were extinguished by the State Emergency Service units.

The invaders also killed a civilian in Odesa region - a 77-year-old man from the village of Lymanka died as a result of shrapnel wounds.

"Moreover, during the air raid alert, the enemy attacked Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district with ballistic missiles. A missile hit an empty sanatorium, and the building was almost completely destroyed. Fortunately, no one was injured," the RMA added.

As a reminder, previously, on Monday, March 3, the aggressor country Russia attacked Odesa with Shaheds drones too. As a result, four people were injured and critical infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged.

Three district boiler houses in Odesa were shut down due to the Russian strike.

As reported, on February 28, Russian invaders targeted Odesa region with kamikazee drones. A person was killed and one was injured as a result of the attack.
