Hearty and delicious potato casserole with minced meat and cheese: a simple recipe for the whole family
Potatoes are one of the most budget-friendly and satisfying vegetables that can be the basis for mashed potatoes, soups, salads, and casseroles. They can also be deliciously boiled and served with butter and herbs, as well as baked with vegetables and meat.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
- Salt, pepper, paprika, potato seasoning
- Water - 50 ml
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Minced meat (any) - 500 g
- Ketchup - 4 tbsp
- Water - 100 ml
- Sour cream - 2-3 tbsp.
- Cheese - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Add spices, salt, pepper, and 50 ml of water and mix. Put into a baking dish and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
2. Finely chop the onion, fry in vegetable oil until transparent. Add the minced meat, fry, breaking up the lumps, until cooked. Add salt, pepper, spices to taste, ketchup, 100 ml of water, stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
3. Put the minced meat with the sauce on top of the potatoes, spread over the entire surface. Sprinkle grated hard cheese on top.
4. Bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
