Zelenskyy after large-scale shelling: Russia's main goal is to normalize terror, they understand only the language of force

After a large-scale Russian shelling, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again appealed to Western countries to protect Ukrainian skies. Thus, on the night of June 1, the occupiers fired more than 50 missiles of various types and about 50 Shahed drones at the south, center, and west of Ukraine.

The President posted the relevant message on his social media. The President noted that Russia's main goal is to legitimize terror, to take advantage of the lack of air defense capabilities and the lack of determination of Ukraine's partners.

Civilians, infrastructure, and energy facilities were damaged during the enemy attack.

"I am grateful to our soldiers for the fact that most of them were destroyed, but there were also hits. All services are working on the ground to ensure recovery and assistance. Every victim will receive all the necessary assistance," Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that Russia, as a terrorist country, understands only the language of force. The only way to stop this terror and prevent its normalization is to make effective decisions in a timely manner.

Earlier it was reported that on the morning of June 1, the Russian terrorist army launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Lviv region. The aggressor attacked critical infrastructure facilities. Destruction was recorded at the site of the attack.
