Zelenskyy addressed the participants of the Peace Summit and called for a chance for diplomacy

In his address to the participants of the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that today dozens of countries from around the world have given diplomacy a chance. According to the President, the only one who wanted a criminal and completely unprovoked aggression against Ukraine was Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

The Head of State emphasized that the world is stronger than the aggressor, as the participants of the peace summit united for the sake of the principles of the UN Charter, international law, and global security. Zelenskyy said this during a joint press conference with Swiss President Viola Amherd.

The President noted that Ukraine managed to unite one hundred countries and international organizations at the first inaugural peace summit. The Head of State also emphasized that a number of other countries and leaders had shown interest in the summit and responded to the peacekeeping impulse of the Peace Formula.
