"We are working on quantity, but quality must come first": Ukraine tests drone swarms and guided munitions. Video
Demonstration tests of drone swarms were held in Ukraine

On Wednesday, October 31, Ukraine hosted demonstration tests of technological solutions from domestic manufacturers in the areas of drone swarming for group missions and guided munitions. The event was organized jointly with Brave1 with the assistance of the Ministries of Defense, Digital Transformation, the General Staff, and the National Guard.

This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry, Herman Smetanin. He noted that drone swarms are an advanced technology that "will allow the military to look not one step, but several steps ahead of the enemy."

"We brought everyone together to help manufacturers realize this. Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff saw what the Ukrainian manufacturer could do. They gave their recommendations for improving the products," the official said.

He said that 17 manufacturers showed their products. Seven of them presented drone-swarming technology for group missions, and the remaining 10 presented guided munitions of various weights.

Test drops of guided munitions from an altitude of more than 1 km were also conducted to measure deviations from the target.

"I am grateful to everyone involved in this demonstration. I thank the teams for their ingenuity, perseverance in their work, and willingness to improve. I am pleased with you and the results of your work. And I know that after the interaction that took place during this event, it will become even better," Smetanin summarized.

Earlier, the commander of the "Achilles" UAV assessed whether the occupiers could force Oskil. He noted that soon, the Russians are unlikely to risk forcing the Oskil in the Kharkiv region. This river has a rapid current, and the occupiers who will set up crossings will be under the gun of Ukrainian drones.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, Ukraine is testing a kamikaze drone invulnerable to electronic warfare, the STING Prymara. It, along with all drones, has protection against electronic interference (EW) through technologies that automatically change communication frequencies and allow the operator to manually switch video transmission channels.
