All the instructors have extensive combat experience and professionally teach military affairs to newly mobilized soldiers," Klitschko emphasized.
The mayor of Kyiv clarified that this particular brigade repelled the aggressor in the hottest areas on February 24, 2022. They defended the airfield in Hostomel and defended Rubizhne and Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region.
"Today, its soldiers are defending Ukraine near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. They are among the people of Kyiv who are fighting the enemy in the east and south of Ukraine. They are courageously defending the state, defending our freedom and independence. We honor and respect every Ukrainian defender. Glory to Ukraine!", Klitschko emphasized.
On the occasion of the National Guard of Ukraine Day, which was celebrated recently, the mayor of the capital presented the soldiers with state awards - 14 Orders for Courage"of the III grade order and awards of the Kyiv mayor - 149 "Honor. Glory. State" medals.
