Ukrainian Armed Forces advance up to 2 km

Ukrainian troops have seized the initiative in the battle for Bakhmut and continue to drive the enemy out of the city. During the fierce fighting over the past two days, on 14-15 May, our defenders have advanced into the enemy-held territories in Bakhmut to a distance of up to 2 km.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevatyi, during a national telethon.

According to him, over the past two days, Ukrainian soldiers have advanced on the flanks of Bakhmut from 350 metres to 2 kilometres in some places.

"Bakhmut is now a bifurcation point. In a broad sense, this means a transition to another stage. If Wagner PMC does not find a way to replenish its personnel in such intense fighting, it will be simply destroyed," Cherevatyi said.

During these battles, Ukrainian defenders killed 149 occupants, killed 160 and captured six more.
