President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the 30 years of independent Ukraine's existence, the terrorist state of Russia has done everything to destroy our military-industrial complex. Now, in the context of a full-scale war, we have to resume weapons production in a short time.

At the same time, the head of state emphasized that, unlike Russia, Ukraine protects its people and does not throw millions of people into battle. Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Brazilian journalists.

According to the President, for 30 years, Russia has had agents in Ukraine and has done everything to prevent our country from developing. In particular, the aggressor destroyed the factories of the defense industry. Now the Ukrainian government is restoring this production to supply the Armed Forces with as much necessary equipment as possible.

"We have resumed the production of artillery, it was not there. We have resumed mass production of our missiles – Stugna, and Corsair. We have built mass production of drones and electronic warfare systems. Today it is a war of technology," Zelenskyy said.

The president also emphasized that Ukraine is saving the lives of its people, while Russia is throwing millions of people into battle for the sake of dictator Vladimir Putin's personal victories.

"They are pressuring us, they don't care how many people die. Our moral values are important to us. People are important to us, we cannot throw a million people against a million people. There is a mishap: you are fighting for human rights, for people's lives, and you do not save people's lives. For us, people are number one, and we count people, but for them, people are not important, they are interested in victories, not Putin. For him, victory is the restoration of the Soviet Union by destroying other peoples and other independent countries," the president said.

As a reminder, Vladyslav Belbas, CEO of Ukrainian Armor LLC, said that long-term contracts and planning will be an important incentive for the active development of Ukraine's military-industrial complex.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian drone manufacturers plan to increase production to 2 million units by the end of the year. At the moment, they are capable of producing up to 150 thousand drones per month.
