They rejoiced "wildly," and then something went wrong: Russian propagandists epically embarrassed themselves by confusing their destroyed state-of-the-art tank with Leopard-2. Video

Russian propagandists shamed themselves by filming a video of a "Western" tank on the frontline that allegedly hit a mine. They marveled at the bricks in its protection but stopped laughing as soon as they realized that it was not a Leopard-2, but their latest T-90 Breakthrough.

This story was told by Ukrainian military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko. He published a video of the Russians, which is accompanied by Chinese subtitles.

In the footage, Russian propagandists who saw the tank torn to pieces in a field immediately organized a video and photo shoot near it. For most of the video, they laughed at the "Western equipment," especially because it had silicate bricks instead of dynamic protection.

The Russians were also amused by the way the tank was torn apart after hitting a mine, saying that its turret "flew off like a chupa-chupa." By the middle of the video, they concluded that it was a Leopard-2, so the commentator rushed to take a selfie in front of the "Western machine."

But after a closer examination of the tank's hull, the propagandists found Cyrillic markings and realized that "something was wrong." They came to the conclusion that it was their newest Russian tank, the T-90M Breakthrough.

"You have to be able to shit yourself like that! No, I know that the Russian occupiers have a fetish for taking pictures in front of their own destroyed equipment and pretending that it is destroyed NATO equipment, but here... this is cringe!" Kovalenko emphasized.

A Ukrainian military expert told the Russian "woodpeckers with GoPros for brains" that only the T-62 had the best mine protection of Soviet tanks, and that was its only advantage. In all other tanks, the ammunition usually detonated after being hit by TM-62 mines, and if not, it was incredible luck.

"But silicate bricks instead of dynamic protection in the T-90M "Breakthrough" is still top notch! As Dmitry Medvedev used to say, "the best tang in the world!" Well, yes, well..." – laughed the author of the post.
