There could have been several arrivals: new details of the attack on the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region
A drone attack on the Marynivka military airfield in the Volgograd region of Russia damaged an airplane parking lot. Fires broke out as a result of several arrivals.
NASA satellites recorded three fires on the territory of the airfield. RosMedia publishes photos and videos from Marynivka.
Judging by the images, one of the fires broke out at the technical position for aircraft preparation (TPAP), where the airplanes are parked. Another one is to the north, where the tanks are located. The third fire center is on the territory where the taxiway of the airfield runs.

According to media reports, as of August 21, 3-5 Su-30/34 fighters were stationed at the TOT. They had previously been redeployed from the Morozovsk airfield after numerous attacks.

OBOZ.UA has learned from its own sources that the SBU and the SSU hit warehouses with CABs and fuel at the Marynivka airfield. The enemy is actively using this airfield to bomb the front line in Ukraine.
Local residents listened to the explosions of warehouses with aviation avionics, ammunition, fuel, and lubricants all night and morning. Pillars of black smoke rose above the airfield and powerful detonations were heard.
As a reminder, on the morning of August 22, the Volgograd region reported an attack by 28 UAVs and explosions near the city of Kalach-on-Don. Afterward, a fire broke out over the nearby Marynivka military airfield, and detonation sounds were heard.
One of the propaganda resources claimed that at least two UAVs were shot down: one of them was destroyed a few kilometers from the airfield, and the wreckage of the second fell on a nearby hut, causing it to catch fire. Residents were allegedly advised to evacuate.
Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed the "repulsion of a drone attack" near the Marynivka airfield and acknowledged that the fire was caused by a drone crash on the territory of the Defense Ministry facility. According to him, most of the UAVs were allegedly shot down, there were no casualties, and firefighters quickly began extinguishing the fire.

– Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, said that on the night of Wednesday, August 21, about 50 UAVs attacked five regions of the Russian Federation. Some of them were flying to the capital of the aggressor country, Moscow, and targeted, in particular, the Ostafievo airport.
– The Ukrainian Navy reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had successfully hit an S-300 air defense system of the Russian Federation near Novoshakhtynsk, Rostov region. This is not the first time such enemy weapons have been destroyed, and we can expect a repeat of this success in the future.
