On the morning of Saturday, July 8, Russian terrorist troops opened fire from multiple rocket launchers on the town of Lyman in the Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, eight people were killed and five others were wounded.
Kremlin war criminals hit a private sector, damaging a house and a store. The consequences of the attack were reported on Telegram by Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
The published footage shows that the victims were just minding their own business: someone was riding a bicycle and someone was in the store. Police are currently working at the scene. Paramedics are providing necessary medical assistance to the victims.
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry clarified that the Russian attack in Lyman killed two men and four women. Three women and two men were injured, police paramedics provided them with medical assistance. A private house, a store and several cars were damaged.
Later, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine reported that the number of deaths due to the shelling of Lyman increased to 8 people. At the scene, rescuers extinguished fires in a private dwelling house, an annex to a printing house and three cars that arose as a result of the shelling.
We remind that on July 8, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones, and an agricultural enterprise came under attack. Two fires broke out there at once, there is destruction of storage facilities, equipment and machinery. A 26-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized in a moderate condition.
Also on the previous day, Russian troops struck Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles. Strikes on the infrastructure object were recorded, a fire broke out there.
"Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Fortunately, the residents of Zaporizhzhia were not injured," reported the local RMA.
