According to preliminary reports, Putin's terrorists used X-22 missiles. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Telegram.
According to Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigation department of the Kharkiv regional police, children were injured in the missile strike. A gas pipeline was also damaged. Russian terrorists destroyed a children's sanatorium school in one of the districts.
"A series of strikes on the city and the region. The gas pipeline is on fire, children are wounded. Four hits were recorded in the suburbs of Kharkiv. Residential buildings in the private sector were damaged. According to preliminary data, children sustained shrapnel wounds, and one woman was also injured. In another area, Russians destroyed a sanatorium school for sick children. One of the missiles hit a gas pipeline. All services are working on the spot. The enemy also fired a missile at a health camp in Balakliia. Preliminarily, they ued S-300 missiles," the law enforcement officer wrote.
The head of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, Oleksandr Filchakov, said that more than 20 civilian objects were damaged as a result of the missile strikes, mostly multi-story buildings.
Kharkiv mayor said that 30 residential buildings have been damaged as a result of the Russian terrorist attack. Utilities were forced to cut off heating, electricity and gas supply in dozens of buildings.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the entrance of an apartment building was completely destroyed as a result of the morning shelling. Rescuers are working at the scene of the attack. Rescuers are trying to dismantle the rubble to find people under it.
In addition, one of the parts of Kyiv district affected by the shelling has no electricity and partially no water. Relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy shelling.
The command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russian terrorists struck Kharkiv, probably with X-22 missiles from Tu-22M3 strategic bombers. In addition, the enemy struck the regional center with S-300 missiles.
Around 8.20 a.m., the head of the RMA reported that two women were killed in a Russian terrorist attack in Kharkiv. Dozens of people were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition.
The head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, posted a video of the aftermath of the Russian terrorist attack in one of Kharkiv's districts. He also emphasized that Ukraine needs more weapons.
The head of the Kharkiv RMA noted that around 04:00 and 07:20, the occupiers struck Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv, using X-22 missiles, several times. The strikes killed two women and injured dozens of people. Apartment buildings, an educational institution, and other exclusively civilian infrastructure were destroyed.
At 10.15 a.m., the regional administration reported that the number of wounded had increased to 42 people, and the number of dead to three. There are four children among the victims. They are in moderate condition.
After 12:30, the Office of the Prosecutor General clarified that two more people died in the hospital. The total number of victims of the Russian terrorist attack is 5 people, 46 people were injured.
The head of the regional administration said during a TV marathon that the occupiers had launched about 12 different types of missiles on residential areas of Kharkiv. The enemy fired at civilians with S-300, X-32 and Iskander missiles. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble to find the victims.

Rescuers have already rescued 27 people from the rubble. The total area of the fires caused by enemy shelling amounted to 400 square meters.
