Volunteers from the RDC conducted another raid on the territory of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. During the raid, they ambushed a vehicle of the Russian Border Guard Service, which resulted in the death of a lieutenant colonel of the Russian Federal Security Service.

The RDC volunteers themselves reported the raid on November 10. And OBOZ.UA's intelligence sources revealed its details.

Thus, on November 10, the RDC Telegram channel posted a message about a new raid on the territory of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

"While a charity auction was taking place in Vilnius, the RDC sabotage and reconnaissance group was moving towards its goal and successfully ambushed an enemy vehicle in the Bryansk region. The video of the objective control will be posted later," the unit said in a statement.

According to OBOZ.UA's sources, the Russian volunteers were ambushed by a car of the Russian border service. Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Shaty, who served as the deputy head of the logistics department, was fatally wounded.

Mr. Shaty died on the spot from the firearms wounds.

The ambush was staged by DPR soldiers around 4 p.m. on November 9 near the village of Ulitsa, Suzemsky district, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

As a reminder, it became known on the morning of November 10 that a Border Guard vehicle was shot in the Bryansk region. At the same time, there was information about the elimination of a lieutenant colonel of the Russian Federal Security Service, but his name was not known at the time.

There was also no information about who exactly shot the car with the FSB officer.
