Russia refuses to exchange prisoners with Ukraine under the guise of fiction: a video refuting Moscow's lies was shown online

Russia refuses to exchange prisoners of war in the "all-for-all" format, hiding behind the fiction that there are "no more than 200-500" of their soldiers in Ukraine. However, only one of the dozens of occupation detention centers holds more than 1,000 Russians.

The corresponding video was shown in the Telegram of the "I Want to Live" project. They noted that some of the people held there have been in captivity for more than 2 years, since the beginning of the full-scale war, and for some unknown reason, Russia is in no hurry to take them away.

"All this time, Moscow continues to ignore Ukraine's numerous initiatives to exchange prisoners of war, proposals for the repatriation of seriously wounded and seriously ill prisoners, and calls from Russian society and world religious leaders for an exchange in the "all for all" format," the project organizers noted.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have shown a new video of the battle against the Russian occupation forces. Our fighters stormed the enemy trenches and captured several servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces.

"The best defense is an attack! Our soldiers not only defend themselves, but also storm enemy positions. This video shows the capture of the K**ap trenches and several prisoners," the military captioned the footage.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- In order not to hand over Azov prisoners of war to Ukraine, Russia is organizing trials over them, with sentences of up to life imprisonment. The prisoners are accused of crimes they did not commit, or rather, they blame their murders of civilians in Mariupol on Ukrainian defenders who tried to defend the Ukrainian city.

- On April 29, President Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. In front of the participants, he outlined the need to clarify for the public what work is being done to bring our prisoners home.
