Russia builds up forces for an offensive on Borova in Kharkiv region - DeepState

Russia has built up significant forces to attack Borova. From Rayhorodka to Novovodiane, they have concentrated up to 10,000 troops and about 450 pieces of military equipment, including 200 artillery systems.

This information was shared by DeepState analysts. As noted, the main purpose of the build-up is for the occupiers to repeat last year's offensive on Borova.

The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade is currently operating in this area, holding a long line of defense. However, the enemy forces are bigger, using additional units and actively conducting assault operations along the entire offensive line.

The occupiers have deployed the forces of the 20th Army, namely 3rd and 144th Divisions, represented by the 236th Artillery Brigade and 11 regiments: 7 Motorized Rifle, 2 Tank and 2 Artillery Regiments. Mercenaries from various irregular military units, including Storm V, Black Mamba, Fiksiki, and Patriot PMC, are also involved. A BARS-14 unit was dispatched to maintain order.

Over the past three weeks, the enemy has been conducting preparatory activities, including probing for weaknesses in the defense of the Armed Forces. In particular, there are continuous assaults on the positions of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. The enemy suffers losses in personnel, but every week 200 to 400 freshly mobilized Russians arrive, which ensures their replenishment and strengthening of the group.

So far, the tactics of "meat assaults" have not led to significant successes for the enemy, but this is due to the presence of a strong defense brigade in this area. However, it is important to emphasize that the balance of power is far from equal.

According to the information received, the enemy intends to repeat last year's strategy, first reaching the Nadia-Novoiehorivka line and then Pershotravneve-Cherneshchyna.

"Given the current situation, it is important not to repeat last year's mistakes as the level of command and control of the troops has increased somewhat. The presence of a significant number of mercenaries, who are mainly used for assault rather than defensive actions, is also a cause for concern," the analysts write.

As noted, last year it was the reinforcements of the 68th Separate Brigade with a battalion of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade that saved the front from falling.
