Poland calls on the US to unblock aid to Ukraine amid tensions in Israel
Against the backdrop of Iran's massive air attack on Israel, Poland has called on the U.S. Congress to pass a bill providing support for Ukraine. Israel's brilliant results in repelling Iranian drones and missiles with the help of its allies are an incentive to strengthen the country's anti-missile capabilities.
Likewise, the Iranian attack should encourage U.S. congressmen to help Ukraine obtain similar protection from Russia's brutal drone and missile attacks. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski is convinced of this, and he made an appeal to House Speaker Mike Johnson on the X network.
The head of Polish diplomacy is convinced that Iran's night attack and 99% of the air targets that were shot down by Israeli and allied air defenses are the best argument in favor of the importance of strengthening air defense over Ukraine.
"Bravo, Israel, for repelling a major Iranian air attack from multiple directions. Israel's anti-missile capabilities should be strengthened and Ukraine should be equipped with similar systems. Speaker Johnson, please let the U.S. House of Representatives vote for a bill to support Ukraine and Israel," Sikorsky wrote.
Following Iran's attack on Israel, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also called for decisive action to our partners. He noted that the world has all the means necessary to fight Russian terror - and Western countries can stop enemy missiles and drones, thus saving the lives of Ukrainians who are killed by Russia every day.
Zelensky added that the world needs solutions that can bring back true and reliable security. With certain means, Ukraine will be able to stop Russian terror, protect its life, the lives of all of Europe and other regions of the world.
