Occupiers hit an apartment building in Kryvyi Rih

Russian war criminals struck Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of June 13, one of which struck an apartment building. Fires broke out at the sites of the arrivals, killing 10 people and injuring dozens more.

People may also be under the rubble of buildings. The Russian terrorist attack was reported by the head of the city's military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, and footage from the scene was published online (to see photos and video, scroll to the end of the news).

"Kryvyi Rih. "High-precision" monsters hit several absolutely peaceful objects in different parts of the city, in particular a five-story house. All emergency services are working, the extinguishing of fires is coming to an end. The ambulance is providing assistance, the victims are in an extremely serious condition, there may be people under the rubble," the official wrote.

He later added that he is now busy dealing with the aftermath of the rocket attack. As of 10:00 a.m., six dead and at least 25 wounded were known. The victims of the Russian terrorists included a junior high school teacher and his wife, who were both 22 years old. An enemy missile killed them as the young couple slept peacefully in their apartment.

In the morning, they continued to look for people who might have been under the rubble of a collapsed private enterprise. Also, people with acute reactions to stress went to doctors. They suffered a terrible shock, but are coming round, they refused medical help.

10 people have been killed in the Krivoy Rog strike, according to clarified data as of 1 p.m. According to First Deputy Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Volodymyr Orlov, five people were taken out from under the rubble of the food train, but search and rescue work continues.

"We see that there may still be people under the rubble," he noted.

Oleksandr Vilkul specified that one person is still under the rubble. 28 wounded have been confirmed, of whom 12 are in hospitals in the city - in moderate, severe and serious condition.

"A day of mourning has been declared for Wednesday, June 14, in Kryvyi Rih. The rescue operation continues," he wrote.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergiy Lysak, said that defenders from the Vostok air command shot down three Russian cruise missiles over the region during the night, but there were incoming flights at civilian targets.

It is noted that apartments from the first to the fifth floor were on fire in the apartment building. In total, the fire covered an area of 700 square meters and was extinguished by rescuers.

"The three victims are in a private enterprise. They were hospitalized. There may be people under the rubble of the broken warehouse. Rescuers are looking for them. Six cars were crushed," specified Lysak.

In addition, the four injured were at another location. A building and cars were on fire there. The fire has already been extinguished.

The trucking company was also wrecked, where the trucking equipment burst into flames and the utility structure was destroyed. There is also damage to the rescue unit.

"The relevant services are working everywhere. The consequences of this cynical attack are being clarified," said the head of the regional military administration.

Recall that during the air raid on the night of June 13 in Kryvyi Rih explosions occurred around 03:25. The head of the military administration Vilkul urged not to film or post anything on the net.

However, the local publicity boards pointed out that the aggressor country had destroyed half of the houses with its strike. According to eyewitnesses, windows in apartments and cars flew out. Fires were recorded in several places.

"Kryvyi Rih - terrible consequences of another terrorist attack by Russians. Condolences," "Just creatures," commented online.

Eerie footage of the aftermath of the arrival in Kryvyi Rih, which struck a residential five-story building, appeared on the network. Residents told how they fled from the destroyed apartments.

In the morning, a mobile application center was deployed in Kryvyi Rih to receive claims from the victims - in front of the destroyed house in the school on the first and second floors.

"There you can register for resettlement, get materials, register for material assistance, declare damaged property, register for the restoration of documents and so on. Hot meals are provided all the time. Places for resettlement, construction materials, food and other things - everything is there," - warned Vilkul.

Regional, district and city authorities, law enforcers, rescuers, medics and utility workers were on the scene of the tragedy from the moment it arrived. The search and rescue operation continued there, while employees of the National Police documented the aftermath of the missile strike.

"Terrorists have taken civilian lives again. The heart is in half. World, do you see?" - commented Sergiy Lysak.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned another terrorist act by Russia, which destroyed a multi-story building and civilian facilities with rockets and killed Ukrainians in Kryvyi Rih. He said that Russian war criminals will never be forgiven for this.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the criminal proceedings for violation of laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

"According to the investigation, on the night of June 13, 2023, the Russian armed forces carried out a rocket attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih. Preliminarily, six people were killed and 25 were injured multiple times as a result of the shelling. The elimination of a fire in a multi-storey building and removal of debris is ongoing," the Office of the Prosecutor General said in a statement.

They stressed that multi-story and private homes, a private business, an automobile company, and automobiles suffered significant damage.

A survey of the scene found rocket debris, the type of which is being determined. Rescue and search operations continue in the city. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcers , are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergiy Lysak, published footage of experts commenting to the media on the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih. He stated that the entire civilized world should see the barbarity of the Russians.

"At the scene of the tragedy in Kryvyi Rih we tell the central and world media the details of the bloody terrorist attack that the Kremlin committed against the civilians of the Ukrainian city," the official said.

To add, this night was also loud in Dnipro, two arrivals are known in Kharkiv, and around Kyiv air defense forces destroyed all enemy targets. According to the AFU General Staff, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine that night with 14 X-101/555 cruise missiles and four Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. Sky defenders destroyed 10 missiles and one Shahed. And in the morning, another Russian cruise missile was destroyed during a repeat air attack.
