The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting local counteroffensive actions in the Avdiivka direction. There are certain successes - in two weeks our soldiers have advanced more than a kilometer.

This was stated by the head of the Avdeevka city military administration Vitaly Barabash. He spoke on the"We Are Ukraine" TV channel on Sunday morning, June 18 (to see the video, scroll to the end of the page).

Barabash stated that Ukraine's defenders have "certain successes" north of Avdiivka. Our soldiers are conducting small positional counterattacks.
