The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed new footage of the defence of Bakhmut. Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces continue to perform combat missions in the fortress city.
The corresponding video was published by the press service of the Special Operations Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 28. "Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut. Footage of the battles for the city, filmed by special forces operators during combat missions," the publication says (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Bakhmut had become virtually uninhabitable. Due to the constant shelling, it is almost impossible to evacuate the remaining civilians.
- Bakhmut and Maryinka remain the epicentre of the fighting, and the Ukrainian Defence Forces are bravely holding their ground.
- An Armed Forces spokesperson said that the Ukrainian defenders in Bakhmut are preparing a "little surprise" for the enemy. The situation is complicated, with battles for both the city and the "road of life" continuing.
