"Do not fall for Kremlin's fairy tales": Czech foreign minister urges NATO partners to increase support for Ukraine

Yesterday Russian dictator Vladimir Putin showed the world that he wanted to "freeze the war," and today his war criminals attacked the Epicenter hypermarket in Kharkiv. That is why we cannot believe the Russian side.

This was stated by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský. He assured that he would once again call on NATO partners to strengthen their support for Ukraine.

"Friday. The Kremlin czar allegedly signals that he wants peace. Saturday. Bombing of a hypermarket full of civilians. Do not fall for the Kremlin's fairy tales," Lipavský said.

The diplomat added that at next week's meeting of NATO ministers in Prague, he will ask his colleagues to "strengthen support for deterring Russian imperialism."

Earlier, several well-known Western media outlets cited Russian anonymous sources as saying that Putin allegedly wants to freeze the war in Ukraine within the current front lines. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba explained these statements by saying that Russia wants to disrupt the peace summit in Switzerland.

As a reminder, a summit on peace in Ukraine will be held in Switzerland this June. Russia is not invited to the conference, unlike a number of neutral countries.

As previously reported, on Saturday, May 25, Kharkiv was under fire from Russian terrorists all day. The war criminals attacked a construction hypermarket, Central Park and a dense residential area. As a result of these attacks, five people were killed, 54 were wounded, and 4 more went missing. All Russian targets were exclusively civilian objects.
