DIU Cyber Corps Attacked Resources of Russian Army Suppliers: Details Emerge

DIU cyber specialists attacked several Russian resources

The DIU Cyber Corps attacked the resources of Russian army suppliers. Cyber specialists have focused on several Russian resources related to supplying the occupation army or tracking the movement of people in Russia.

This was reported to OBOZ.UA by sources in the DIU. The data obtained includes information on patents, Russian military personnel booking accommodation in Russia, and information on the supply of military equipment and uniforms to the Russian army.

According to the source, in particular, military intelligence specialists managed to access data from the okrug.ru resource on suppliers of military equipment and uniforms for the Russian Defense Ministry, in particular for the space forces, ground forces, and navy.

The DIU's cyber specialists also attacked the vashhotel.ru website. They gained access to user data, including Russian military personnel who book accommodation in Russia.

The OBOZ.UA source added that, among others, the Gostpatent.ru website, which contains a database of registered patents and may be of interest to military intelligence, was also affected.

"All of these resources operate in the interests of the aggressor state and support the Russian occupation army. Along with this, as a result of a cyberattack, an image of an owl over the neutralized aggressor appeared on the attacked resources," the source said.

Earlier, it became known that the DIU cyber corps attacked the Russian financial sector: major banks "Alfa-Bank" and "Otkritie" as well as "Rostelecom," were hit. Users of their services complained about unavailable services and errors.

There was a global failure in the rapid payment system; mobile applications and online banking stopped working, and internal services of financial institutions also failed.
