Depends on US support: Zelenskyy told about the plan of Ukrainian victory. Video

Zelenskyy: implementation of Ukraine's victory plan should force Russia to end the war diplomatically

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he plans to discuss Ukraine's victory plan with U.S. President Joe Biden first. According to the head of state, the implementation of this plan should force the aggressor country, Russia, to end the war diplomatically.

Zelenskyy made the statement on the sidelines of the Crimean Platform Summit in Kyiv on September 11, an OBOZ.UA correspondent reports. In particular, he noted that the implementation of the plan for Ukraine's victory depends largely on the support of the United States.

"I will be consistent with the victory plan. First, I will discuss it with President Biden, because it mostly depends on the support of the United States and other partners. But I think that everyone understands that there is a scope of influence and a scope of assistance, and therefore there are no unnecessary words here... I think it is clear why I will do it in this order," Zelenskyy said.

The President of Ukraine also said that the victory plan envisages a serious strengthening of Ukraine in many ways.

"This is a plan to strengthen Ukraine, to seriously strengthen it. And in my opinion (the plan – Ed.) will have, by the way, psychological, political, and different types of influence on Russia's decision to end this war," Zelenskyy said.

The head of state added that this plan "must be presented before the second Peace Summit to force Russia to end the war diplomatically."

"It will definitely make it easier for Ukraine (its efforts – Ed.) to force Russia to end the war," the Ukrainian leader is sure.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, on September 5, President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would prepare a detailed plan to end the war by the second Peace Summit. The head of state said that representatives of Russia must be present at this summit, because without it it is "very difficult" to diplomatically end the hostilities, and this was also requested by the participants of the first Peace Summit.
