Little child killed in missile attack on Uman

Children were killed in a Russian missile attack on a high-rise building in Uman. The city has declared three days of mourning and cancelled all entertainment events.

This was reported by the adviser to the head of the OP Daria Zarivna. According to her, the child was about three or four years old. The total number of deaths in Uman has risen to 10, said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the news story).

Klymenko also said that the Russian missile hit the first entrance of the building, which, according to preliminary data, was home to 109 people in 46 apartments, 27 of which were completely destroyed. The rubble is expected to take about one day to clear. So far, 10 people have been reported dead, 9 of whom were pulled out of the rubble, and 1 died in hospital.

For his part, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, said that two ten-year-old children were among the ten people killed in the high-rise building in Cherkasy.

"The headquarters for the victims is working. We are providing all the necessary assistance," Taburets said.

Recall that a video was published online showing the moment a Russian missile hit a high-rise building in Uman on the morning of April 28. The footage shows a strong flash and a cloud of smoke rising into the sky.
