Caterpillar track and turret blown off: spectacular footage of a Russian tank explosion in Donetsk region. Video
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have filmed the spectacular destruction of a Russian army tank that invaded the territory of Donetsk region. "The tank destroyed was a T-72B3, the most commonly used tank in the aggressor country's army.
The powerful explosion caused the track and turret to fly off the tank's hull. On October 25, Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov shared the video on his Telegram channel. He did not specify when and where the footage was recorded (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
"Epic detonation... The fierce explosion caused the track and turret to fly off the armored vehicle, which then fell on the body and caused another fire," Butusov commented.
The video was shot by a Ukrainian UAV camera that was observing the situation on the battlefield. The video shows that a large-scale explosion turned everything around fiery red.
In the frame, the T-72B3 tower is clearly visible, which was thrown high up by the detonation force.
There are no details about the fate of the Russian crew of the T-72B3.
