After the destruction of the Ivanovets missile boat in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Russian troops even suspended the training process of the Russian Black Sea Fleet for a while. Moreover, for a long time now, the enemy has been concentrating ships exclusively in the eastern part of the Black Sea.

At the same time, the enemy fleet is now exclusively concerned with two tasks. This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, during the telethon.

According to him, the Russian Black Sea Fleet is currently dealing with two main issues: the protection and defense of basing points, water control, and civilian shipping, as well as training processes.

However, even this process was disrupted by the enemy after the destruction of the Ivanivets missile boat. As a result, Putin's troops have concluded that the eastern part of the Black Sea is the safest for their ships.

"They perform their tasks mainly in the eastern part of the Black Sea. The incident with their missile boat was discussed and analyzed for several days, and even the training process was suspended. After they decided that it was safe to go out in the eastern part of the Black Sea, they continued to go out," Pletenchuk said.

He also noted that as of February 11, there were 5 enemy ships in the Black Sea, including two Kalibr cruise missile carriers. Pletenchuk emphasized that the Russian ships' entry into the sea is related to security measures.

"The ships are trying to change their anchorage and basing locations. For this purpose, they still use the ports of Tuapse and Sochi. To do this, they need to go to sea," Pletenchuk explained.

As a reminder, Ukrainian servicemen recently destroyed the Russian missile boat Ivanovets. The enemy target was sent to the bottom of the Black Sea using MAGURA surface drones. During the attack, 10 drones were used at once.

Earlier it was reported that during Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the Defense Forces put about a third of the Russian Black Sea Fleet out of action. Twenty-four ships and one submarine were sunk or severely damaged. In total, the Russian Black Sea Fleet had 74 warships in service.
