Khuzina complained about sanctions

World taekwondo champion Liliya Khuzina complained about the new bans imposed by the international federation on Russian athletes. In particular, representatives of the aggressor country are not even allowed to be photographed with their awards in front of the national symbols.

Khuzina stated this in a comment for the propaganda news agency TASS. She added that she tries not to pay attention to these conditions. The athlete, who won gold at the world championships in Baku in 2023, added that she did not sign any documents.

"When we come to Russia, we should not associate the medals of the World Cup with the national attributes - the flag, the anthem. You can't have a flag or even a uniform with the country's attributes in the background. I haven`t signed anything, I was just told what not to do. I tried to take it easy. The main thing is that the task is done," said Khuzina.

We note that immediately after the World Championships the Russian Taekwondo Federation included the Federation of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RHF) Vladislav Tretiak demanded the return of the aggressor country to international competitions, as "sport is an ambassador for peace."
