"We should not forget": Lucescu reacted to rumors of his resignation from Dynamo

Head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu has criticized rumors about his resignation in case of the team's elimination in the qualifying rounds of the Conference League. The Romanian specialist reproached journalists for publishing unverified information and putting pressure on him.

Lucescu said this at a press conference before the return match of the qualifying round of the LC with Greek Aris, the official website of Dynamo reports. The head coach noted that the team's poor performance has logical explanations.

"The press always wants to be ahead and ask questions that are convenient. But you don't know a lot of things, you don't know what my contract with Dynamo is, what agreements I have with the club president. Yes, of course, there is pressure. But we should not forget that our team is one of the few that has a large number of natives and almost no foreigners. First, foreigners left the club because of the pandemic, which spoiled the plans of many, including us. Then the beginning of a full-scale war and the departure of Ukrainian players and foreigners abroad," Lucescu said.

Earlier, the Dynamo coach made a loud statement before the match against Aris, in which he spoke harshly about the fans of the Greeks.
