"We have nothing against it". FFT reacts to the desecration of the Ukrainian flag at Roland Garros

The employee of the French Tennis Federation (FFT) who cut the flag of Ukraine at Roland Garros said that the colour of the flag does not matter and the rules are the same for everyone. Before the quarter-final match between Elina Svitolina and Arina Sobolenko of Belarus, the organisers mocked the yellow and blue flag.
Ukrainian Anna, who refused to give her surname, calmly waited until a Roland Garros employee took the flag from the entrance gate and returned two pieces to her.
"Here at the FFT, we have nothing against the Ukrainian flag. On the contrary, we would do the same with any other flag," Reuters quoted a representative of the French Tennis Federation as saying.
