Olympic ice hockey champion Alexander Yakushev has spewed lies about Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin. The henchman of the regime of the president of the Russian terrorist state repeated traditional propaganda narratives about the greatness of the Russian Federation and its leader.

Yakushev said this in an interview with the Moscow City News Agency. The former head coach of the Russian national team attributed non-existent achievements to Putin, including the growth of the aggressor country's economy, which is allegedly "far ahead of the West."

"He is a leader not only in Russia but in the world. What he does is all for the sake of Russia, for the sake of Russians, for the sake of peace, for the sake of Russia always being in the forefront and always bringing success not only in the economy but also in politics. Our Russian Federation, of course, is developing very rapidly. Our economy is already far ahead of the West, and we are leaders in everything. We are leaders in politics and in the economy, and we are leaders everywhere that you can imagine," Yakushev said in a patriotic frenzy.
