Karyakin speaks out about sanctions

The 2016 World Rapid Chess Champion Sergey Karyakin, who betrayed Ukraine in 2009 and took Russian citizenship, complained about the isolation of Russian athletes. An accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime and an ardent fan of the war in our country also described the gloomy prospects for aggressors in world sports.

Karyakin said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency R-Sport. The member of the United Russia party was also outraged by the pressure exerted on Russian representatives in the international arena and called for the creation of alternative competitions.

"I think that Russians will not be able to fully participate in the Olympic Games soon, especially under their own flag and anthem. I don't know how much time should pass. Unfortunately, we are outcasts there... To be honest, I don't see any tendency for this pressure to ease. So I believe that the more independent we are in the future, the better it will be for ourselves, of course. I believe that we will still come to the point where alternative structures should be created," the occupiers' handler said.

Earlier, the traitor chess player who became a senator from Crimea in the Federation Council said that "Russophobes of all stripes" prevented the return of Russians to International Chess Federation tournaments.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Sergey Karyakin spoke nonsense about Ukrainians "losing their sanity" while defending their country from the shameful Russian army.
