The fight took place on the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois show

Undefeated Ukrainian boxer Daniel Lapin (8-0, 2 KOs) won the vacant IBO Continental light heavyweight title. On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight in Wroclaw, Poland, the 26-year-old from Kyiv defeated German Aro Schwarz (20-7-1, 13 KOs) by technical knockout.

The 2-metre tall Lapin seized the initiative in the ring from the very first minute, punching his short opponent with jabs time and time again. Schwartz couldn't find the keys to the Ukrainian's defence, occasionally missing his punches.

The denouement came in the 6th round, when Lapin's series of punches forced the German fighter to first take a knee and then abandon the fight altogether.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, before this fight, the undefeated heavyweight from Kazakhstan, Nursultan Amanzholov (5-1, 4 KOs), caused a scandal in a fight against the representative of Uzbekistan, Lazizbek Mullazhonov (3-0, 3 KOs).

Recall that Usyk and Dubois will fight on Saturday 26 August at the Tarczyński Arena. It has already become known where and how you can watch the fight in Ukraine.

The exact start time of the meeting has also become known.
