"Ukrainians will never forgive": Dynamo legend speaks out harshly about Belarus and Lukashenko

Legendary Dynamo Kyiv footballer Alyaksandr Khatskevich has expressed confidence that the Ukrainian people will never forgive self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for his assistance in Russia's attack on our country. The Champions League semi-finalist accused the politician of lying and supporting Vladimir Putin's terrorist regime.

Khatskevich said this in an interview with the YouTube channel ChestnOK. He called Belarus a region of the Russian Federation, which was actively promoted by Lukashenka. The former Dynamo member added that true Belarusians are now fighting for Ukraine and the free future of their homeland.

"I can't believe that you give your territory to another country to attack your neighbour. You provide training grounds, airfields for planes to take off from... And then you say we didn't do it. Who are you telling... We understand that weapons were delivered from Russia. And this is still going on. Ukrainians will never forgive Lukashenko. In my understanding, Belarus today is an unofficial part of Russia. And real Belarusians are giving their lives for Ukraine today," Khatskevich said.

Earlier, he admitted that his parents did not believe the stories about Russian atrocities in the suburbs of Kyiv. The former Dynamo coach called Russian army soldiers inhumane.
