Former figure skater Margarita Drobiazko was deprived of Lithuanian citizenship for participating in ice shows of Ukraine's traitor Tatiana Navka. The 51-year-old Moscow native was also previously stripped of all her state awards for supporting Dmitry Peskov's wife.

The decree to deprive Drobiazko of citizenship was signed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, the Baltic News Service news agency reports. It is worth noting that the Russian woman received a passport from the Baltic country in 1993 under a simplified procedure so that she could participate in the Olympic Games with Povilas Vanagas.

Last August, Nausėda wrote on his Facebook page that Vanagas and Drobiazko had erased their merits to Lithuania.

"I am sure that a couple of these skaters were outstanding athletes. But their services to the Lithuanian state, which were recognized in 2000, have been erased by their cynical participation in a commercial show in Sochi while Ukraine is drowning in the blood of innocent people. At best, this is a political passion, at worst, it is a spit on the memory of the dead, children, women and the elderly," the President emphasized.

Interestingly, Drobiazko has Ukrainian roots, which does not prevent her from tacitly supporting Russia's military aggression against our country.

Earlier, the 13-time Lithuanian champion said that she was glorifying the country's honor at the competition thanks to Russia, which has now been declared an "enemy state."

"If now, in order to keep my Lithuanian passport, I am offered to give up part of my family, the country that has been my homeland since childhood, my profession and loyal friends, it is quite obvious that this is not my way, because it is a betrayal, and nothing of this should be bought," Drobiazko said.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, a well-known Russian figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova called Lithuanians sick people because of the deprivation of Margarita Drobiazko's citizenship.
