"They love hospitality, and then they drop bombs": UFC champion calls Russians his enemies

The holder of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) belt, Merab Dvalishvili, called the Russians his real enemies. The Georgian athlete, who supports Ukraine in the war against the aggressors, reminded that Russia has occupied 29% of the territory of his native country.

Dvalishvili said this in an interview with Jake Shields' YouTube channel. The UFC champion placed special emphasis on the overwhelming hypocrisy of Russians who love hospitality and good treatment from other nations, but then pursue an aggressive policy towards these countries.

"I have no hatred for Russians. Their country is corrupt. But Russia has occupied 20% of Georgia's territory. They are my enemies. When they come to us, of course we treat them as guests, no problem. Of course, they like our food, they like our hospitality. But then they drop bombs on cities and kill people. And we are a small country, so we ask: "Why are you killing us?" said Dvalishvili.

It should be noted that in March 2023, a Georgian fighter defeated Russian Pyotr Yan, and immediately after the fight he shouted "Glory to Ukraine!" into the microphone.
