Five-time world champion and eight-time European weightlifting champion Tatyana Kashirina has been stripped of all her titles from 2013 to 2017 after being caught doping. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirmed that the 32-year-old Moscow Region native, who competes in the over 90 kg weight category, lost three world championships (2013, 2014, 2015) and three European Championships gold medals (2014, 2015, 2017).

Kashirina was also stripped of the world records in snatch (155 kg), jerk (193 kg) and total (348 kg) set at the 2014 World Championships in Alma-Ata.

After the disqualification of the Russian woman, the gold medal of Euro-2015 and Euro-2017 will be awarded to the Ukrainian athlete Anastasia Lysenko. The weightlifter from Chernomorsk took second places at these CEs.

In 2020, Kashirina was suspended based on information from the Moscow Laboratory's database (LIMS). The athlete was suspected of violating clause 2.2 of the Russian Anti-Doping Rules ("Use or Attempted Use by an Athlete of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method").
