Aliyev criticises Dynamo Kyiv

Former Dynamo Kyiv footballer Oleksandr Aliyev criticized the current generation of the team's players. In particular, the former White and Blues defender was outraged not only by the performance and results of coach Mircea Lucescu's team, but also by their behavior off the field.

Aliyev said this in an interview with Ksenia Bolbot's YouTube channel. Oleksandr noted that today's Dynamo youth does not meet the level that the fans demand from the players. In addition, he spoke about his conversation with the president of Kyiv, Ihor Surkis.

"We lose to everyone. We're not talking about the Champions League anymore, if we don't show anything in the Conference League. We drank but played, and now we don't drink and don't play. I had a conversation with Ihor Surkis, we were sitting talking one day, and I said to him: "Mykhailo, tell them to have a drink," and he said, "They don't even know how to drink." We drank, but we also played games, and now they have all these things: consoles, counter-strikes, counter-something. This is the level of young people now," Aliyev said.

Earlier, the former Dynamo player spoke about the hospitalization of his teammate from the capital's team and the Ukrainian national team, Artem Milevskyi. Aliyev also admitted that he abandoned his father because of his support for the war in our country.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Dynamo Kyiv won a spectacular victory over LNZ in the 8th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
