Surkis speaks about Dynamo Kyiv

The president of Dynamo Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, praised the team's players for their performance in the Champions League qualifiers, where the White and Blues stopped at the last stage, losing a ticket to the main round to Salzburg Austria. The functionary especially noted the victory of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team over Partizan Belgrade.

Surkis said this in an interview with the ProFootball Digital YouTube channel. According to the head of the Kyiv club, the Ukrainian team lacked luck in the confrontation with the Austrians, and the match against the Serbian team was special because of the support of the "partisans" for the aggressor country.

"I liked the way the guys approached the Champions League qualifiers. They beat a difficult team, Partizan. It was not a football match, but a political one, and we understand that. It was important for our guys who are at war that we beat these non-humans who travel to Russia. We beat them 9:1. Then we beat Rangers, and then there was Salzburg, a good team with players worth 15-20 million. I understand that in football there is luck and there is bad luck. We were unlucky in these matches. We could and should have won them," Surkis said.

We would like to remind you that Dynamo Kyiv will play in the main round of the renewed Europa League. The Ukrainians have already recognized their rivals, who will now be eight instead of three.
