The International Biathlon Union (IBU) said that it has no plans to admit Russian biathletes. According to the head of the Russian Biathlon Union Viktor Maigurov, they are in dialog with the IBU. There they answer that they have no reason to return Russia to competition
"There is no question of even neutral status. The prospects of return are the same as for other federations. Our Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sport and the state as a whole are aimed at getting our athletes admitted as soon as possible without any restrictions, because there were no violations on the part of the ROC, the Ministry of Sport and Russian athletes," said the head of the SIS in an interview with propagandists from R-sport.
