The Ukrainian Dragon rowing team became the heroes of the World Championship, which was held in Thailand from August 4 to 13. Our team during the race at a distance of 2000 meters in the open class was able to get to the finish line almost under water.

For reference: the Dragon boat is a large twenty-seater canoe, decorated with a dragon's head and tail in the front and back respectively. A drummer sits on the bow and beats out the rhythm on a large drum. Another person in the stern steers the boat.

When the finish line was 200 meters away, a wave from a neighboring boat flooded the Ukrainians' "dragon" and it started to go down.

"Yellow-Blue" did not get confused and continued rowing, finishing sixth already on the flooded boat.

All spectators and opposing teams gave the Ukrainian national team a real ovation.
